Who are we? Why are we?

I have been watching a lot of sci-fi/philosophical series lately . So, one of the weird theories popped up in my brain -

Have you ever thought that, there might be various levels of existence like levels of game and humans might be somewhere in medium level (given intelligence + suffering) and once we complete this level successfully, we can transform into higher level may be a higher dimension beyond our comprehension(I am aware that some religions might have similar metaphors)

Every single experience we have, every emotion we feel, every struggle we have to pass through, gains i.e., things we acquire in life(material/non-material) to make our survival easier and missteps we take, like negative points in a game. Every thing is a challenge, every person is unique with unique abilities by birth and born in unique environment with unique challenges. Although no one knows, what dictates it. May be everything you posses is exactly what you need to overcome the challenges you face and more important feature is adaptability through observation and learning which in turn gives you more strength to exist longer in this game level.

The thing is that people don’t know they are in a game, some struggle to find their direction, some struggle even to become aware of their own abilities, some will be able to discover all the abilities and further enhance them and survive so well while many struggle to become aware of their abilities. No one knows the rules clearly. Basically, no one knows the game may be because rules are not same for everyone and there is no one way of playing it? Somehow some people learn lot more rules of the game than others by trail and error or by design itself, they survive longer and happier. Some understand the rules but ponder on why, who and what’s beyond these rules? Some people never becomes aware of any rules and plays randomly, for those lucky ones, all those random moves turns out to be the right moves. Imagine waking up suddenly one day only to find yourself as a character in a video game with all your previous memory erased and not programmed with any rules of the game, you have to learn on the fly, you may or may not get external help or from other characters, but sooner or later, you should learn how to play the game your own way, about your own abilities and how you can best utilize them to survive. Cheers fellow player !

Reminiscing...

wow, I did write few posts here a decade ago, reminiscing those wow.

I changed a lot in the past decade but realized my core hasn't changed, that same confused girl. tired of this world but in a new way, always searching for something. I have improved myself a lot, no denial in that, but still something's always missing. The world is always roaring with these words - follow all the rules, make everyone happy? That roaring is the same, just the rules around me has upgraded but thoughts and intensions behind those rules? still the same.

Is this, the true nature of humanity, as much as I love humanity and have hope for it, I feel suffocated at times, I can see the madness, I can understand it, I can raise above it but still I am among the people, I need people for my survival, sometimes I wonder is there really an escape from all this madness, just where your mind feels free?

"Power will go to rascals, rogues, freebooters. . . .
All leaders will be of low caliber & men of straw. . .
They'll have sweet tongues & silly hearts. . .
They will fight amongst themselves for power & the two countries will be lost in political squabbles. . . .
A day would come when even air & water will be taxed.

Past to Present

I still remember those days. Today after finishing my supper just walked in our balcony to watch stars as usual admiring the beautiful shining sky , I just had a glance into the house opposite to our's , they just has two rooms in their house .In the front room they are having their dinner , the two adults sat on the floor with plates in their hands and their child watching the TV and playing on the bed beside them . The whole situation remind me of the past almost 15 years back . Every day at night especially at sundays we used to have our dinner in the same way. The small girl remind me of myself , how once i used to be very happy we my self and everything. And her parents remind me my parents , how they talk about everything that happened in their respective workplaces and about our future. Yes I know its their sacrifice and their hardwork that make us to live a life very comfortably today. Of course its the midclass life , their are lot of pains , sacrifices and even more understandings, promises, trust, their dreams. Its the real Life . But today the people around me changed a lot that though i had every thing making me to feel that i want else more and cannot be happy . I still remember it was those days when I am happy with my small dreams, always have fun with my parents( what more anyone want in their life, its the final thing anyone want in their lives) and laughing , silly fights with my sister , imaging such situations feels like if i can go back in time and have those days, only you dad I want to be happy . Life is changing , its becoming mechanical ,just doing something as if it should be done, compiting every where not knowing why to and just for more likesor popularity on facebook. People around me are changing , from the people where we used to share everything to people who just appears to be sharing but not for real. May be I need to change my attitude. I cant understand this world!!!!

Where the poor are fighting a losing battle

BY Deepthi singh ,
We were sitting in a café when a friend casually remarked to me: “I think India doesn't have horrendous poverty anymore.” This naïve statement rendered me speechless. Then I looked around and realised how the poor are kept from the vision of urban India.
Gladiator spectacles were once used to distract the citizens of Rome from the inadequacies of the government. In “modern” India, is it the glamour of Bollywood and cricket that shades the reality? Our yesteryear movies such as Mother India(1957) and Coolie (1983) focussed on poor protagonists and exemplified the struggles of a farmer or a common man. Now there are no poor people in our movies — not in supporting characters, not even in the background. The hero is almost always a multimillionaire, who switches countries at a blink of an eye and the heroine always wears designer clothes. Blockbusters such as Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), precisely establish the fact.
The poor are fighting a losing battle for space in the English dailies; beset with advertisements of super luxury villas and cheap(er) air tickets to Singapore.
How true is this story of rising India? Has poverty eradication been as rapid in reality as in our movies?
While I was thinking about this question, I noticed a cobbler right below a magnificent high-rise at Connaught Place in Delhi. I never gave him much thought except now when I realised that he has been occupying the same spot under a tree beside a busy office complex for many years. He agreed to an interview on condition that he would continue mending shoes as we spoke. He respectfully welcomed me to his stall and I found a place on the ground next to his official chair — a torn red rug.
He looked frail in a loose cream shirt and faded, worn out, trousers. He kept his head down, mending a shoe, raising it only occasionally to either answer greetings from the hawkers around him or to my questions. This profession came as an apparent choice to him since his father too, was a cobbler. “I used to come here to help my father when I was young. We used to sit right here.” So does he have the same dream for his children? “I have put all my three children in a government school at Seelampur. I can't say about their future; they have to decide.”
I had to put aside my hesitation to bring the conversation to his earnings. “I make about Rs. 200 on a good day,” he said, without exhibiting any trace of awkwardness. To my surprise, he did not follow this statement with rhetoric about rising prices. How could he be content with making just Rs.200 a day? How does he buy new clothes and new toys for his kids? “I buy them gifts on Diwali, if I have money.” It was easy to get envious of his contentment; I began to wonder if he is harbouring any anger against the rich who surround him on this busy street. “There is nothing to be angry about. There are people who are richer than these rich people too,” he reverted, uncontrived.
Owning a pucca house at Seelampur takes away his right to claim the Below-Poverty-Line (BPL) card which could give him access to cheap rations. Given the soaring prices, how is he able to save for his children? “I could save earlier but not now. What little I had, I spent it on my father's treatment. He died two years ago, since then I have been trying to save up again for making shoes. I used to make shoes by hand and sell them right here but I have no money to do that anymore,” he said, pointing to his worn out chappals. But, surprisingly, he doesn't believe in holding big expectations from his children. “All that is a matter of fate. I want to do my duty and leave the rest to god.”
That's when I realised that it was his faith in destiny and his uncomplaining acceptance of poverty that kept him going. I felt I had my answers now.
“ Bhaiya - Your name?” I enquired as I dusted myself after getting up.
“Suresh,” he responded, continuously chopping the extra leather off a shoe sole.
“Suresh… aage ? last name?” I asked, tapping my pen to my notebook.
“It's Suresh only. Actually, Suresh Kumar but everybody calls me Suresh.” I left him alone with the uneasiness he tried to hide by burying himself in his work.
David Dhawan doesn't plan to make Cobbler number 1 anytime soon and hence it's time we took on the onus to notice, not just the Mercedes at the traffic signal, but also the helpless leprosy patient banging the car window or an abandoned granny on the roadside.

Our yesteryear movies focussed on poor protagonists and exemplified the struggles of a farmer or a common man. Now there are no poor people in our movies...

Really this was very inspiring....
where the world around was going...
but still the common man is suffering for there living...
but still belief in god... makes them lead life....

When someone utters the word “Apple” most times you think of the name “Steve Jobs”. The Apple CEO – Steve Jobs has a brand value which is synonymous with Apple. Apple has been smart to push Steve Jobs as their main spokesperson because Steve Jobs is a name everyone trusts and there is also the ‘Wow’ factor attached to him. Steve Jobs has been called a visionary and a creative genius.

Be yourself

*Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
*It is because we are different that each of us is special.
*Do not set your goals by what other people deem important.
*Only you know what is best for you.
*Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart.
*Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.
*Do not let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past, nor for the future.
*By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.
*Do not give up when you still have something to give.
*Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
*It is a fragile thread that binds us to each other.
*Do not be afraid to encounter risks.
*It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
*Do not shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find.
*The quickest way to receive love is to give love;
*The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly;
*In addition, the best way to keep love is to give it wings
*Do not dismiss your dreams.
*To be without dreams is to be without hope;
*To be without hope is to be without purpose.
*Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going.
*Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Wipro chairman Mr. Azim prem ji's comment on reservation:

* I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for Muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC /ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an

SC/ST/OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a SC/ST/OBC player should be
counted as 8 runs. An SC/ST/OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century. We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our SC/ST/OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an SC/ST/OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal. Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an SC/ST/OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters. There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country.. ) Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..) Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward... Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN.. May the good breed of politicians long live.. *

Really superb........

POLLUTION  one of the problems our country is facing. There are many direct and indirect consequences of pollution which sometimes , even causes death ( may be you are watching in newspapers daily). I don't know about other countries but our country is facing very serious problems in the regard .
I suggest all my friends not to be a direct or indirect cause for increase in the pollution . On a rainy day i have to struggle hard on the roads to walk and go to the bus stop. Its a very small distance but there will be water on the roads to a level of nearly half feet (10-15 cm), it will be very difficult for me those days and i am living in a city . Imagine those people who are living in areas where no roads were laid .
I want to talk about water pollution , one main loss we all know is marine loss- loss of different kind of species. Imagine the life of fisherman .... fishing is the only source in their lives . Recently i heard in news about river Godavari, due to increase in internal tourists and pollution created by them a very great loss to fisherman in those areas . We all know about the holy river Ganga, once upon a time it was very pure but now the situation was very worst , it contains a lot and lot and lot of  bacteria... one of the reason is pollution.
It will be a bit difficult to change uneducated people but we the educated also were cause of the pollution . I am not talking about the use of plastics or refrigerators or motor vehicles but there are small things which need to be concerned like throwing empty bottles , packs in dustbins etc. Never throw such things in rivers or lakes . May be you got money and can get required things purely but there are many in our country who depend on those lakes and rivers for many things , not only in rivers but also on roads , in exhibitions and many other places. Atleast try these little things.
On the way to my college there is a canal , every day i watch those water how dirty and polluted they are, but there are people who wash their clothes , dishes and even some take bath in that ,see  How unhygenic conditions these people are living, if we see the river in summer all the plastic bottles (like coke bottles), raffers and a lot of algae and other plants are visible.  May be they lack the awareness or may be  there is no alternative for them. Actually we have to travel in a road parallel to this canal while the other side of the road was very beautiful with greenary ( Its the only thing i like about my college) with different types of grass , it looks very beautiful and plesant .
The only thing i want to say finally is REDUCE POLLUTION, do your bit help to achieve that .Why always people think about I and not we. I am not saying that i always think about we , I am also selfish but atleast the humanity to exhibit , just feel the pain .Not throwing papers , plastics, coke bottles in rivers, on roads etc is not a big thing for us. Pollution is one of the cause for our country to lag behind may be directly or indirectly.

LIGHTNING

Lightning : : Atmospheric electrostatic discharge accompained by thunder .
The temperature it produces is hot enough to fuse silica sand into glass channel.
It carries a lot of electrical energy . As we are in a generation where every resource is becoming inexhaustible, this energy is very much useful . But the question is, how to make that lightening useful to us?(how to capture and store)
Many of the scientist have done great researches in that but no one can get a final answer. Modern world has got lot of technology but why is not helpful in these cases?

LIFE

what is life? what is modern life? How should we live? positively, happily, with satisfaction. May be, this is way we have to think about life but we can't. It is because of our stress , increasing competition, lack of time management and finally getting depressed. many times I come across a quote
" Life appears the way you look at it".
what is the real meaning behind it? But for me always life appears exactly the opposite way I want it to be. I know the reason behind it. I am very tired of modern life in the sense competing with others for every thing and final became lazy. why everyone was racing... in studies , at the place they work and in all aspects of life? Is that to become rich or to get fame or to be recognized?is there a need to prove ourselves to express ourself freely ? what does we really need in our life ? I know one thing in life is very essential happiness.... Happiness with satisfaction ... satisfaction by adjusting with situations.
I have learned in my life , happiness is the only thing with which we can live our life the best.
I am very lazy but I am very happy that I recognized myself and trying to change. we all need to have belief.
" Believe in yourself . you can do Miracles"
we have only one life . Enjoy it to your best, atleast try
Help the one who deserves it coz helping hands are better than praying lips,
Laugh out loud , laughing is great exercise
Dance or sing or paint , whatever you do express yourself
satisfy with what you have, do what you can do,
and be ready to be the one ever selected to touch the sky .

[ These are my own thoughts and imagination. they are not meant to hurt anyone . sorry for any mistakes .]
